Silverstone interior not holding up?
Anyone experiencing the color coming off their silverstone interior? Specifically on the door handle/door armrest portion. I am on my 2nd door panel now and it keeps coming off even with a simple leather cleaner and cloth. Bmw refuses to fix this and considers it “normal wear and tear” i have a MY21 M3. I have seen it happening to every single silverstone interior.

What do you mean "coming off?"
It's dyed leather, it shouldn't have any color being removed, it may get dirty but you need to keep it clean. I've only had it for 8 or so months but it's pristine so far. |

Yes. The dye is coming off… it looks like its dirty but the actual leather is what is showing.

I would agree that it's going to be hard to get the dealer to replace it. It's wear and tear. If you really want, you can buy a replacement door panel, they pop off after removing 3 screws and can easily pop back on with replacement clips. |

I am aware... I am on my 2nd panel and it is happening AGAIN. I even ceramic coated the leather. This color will just not hold up... |

Got my car December 21 and interior still looks good. I wipe down my interior periodically and ceramic coated when I first purchased it. I use turtle wax interior cleaner for maintenance and if stains from jeans I use a leather cleaner with brush.

I have silverstone, and my center armrest is peeling. I don't drive the car often, and I use P&S Express interior cleaner with a gentle brush to agitate and gently rub off with a plush microfiber when cleaning. All silverstone pieces are coated with Gyeon leather shield.
I was a bit confused when I saw it peeling as I went through extra precautions. The rest of my interior seems to be okay. |

I have the same issue but not as bad as yours. I do condition and protect it often and I took delivery jan22. Maybe ceramic coat the new panel? That may help prevent it.

Use Colourlock products if you haven’t already. I was just detailing my G80 with them again today. My carbon buckets look stellar still. I swear by their products. |
