Likely weather related. Here in Phoenix I have 200 cell catted DP and have no CELs direct mounted. Betting CELs happen when the less restrictive cats have trouble heating up (most people get a cat efficiency below threshold CEL).

Can you link me to what I need for no CEL on Catted DP’s?

I had a fat boy catless and that was way too obnoxiously loud and I hated the smell. No CEL though with spacers.

I had the AA catted DP, it was a smooth experience, they are expensive so I had very high standards for them. They added a very appealing deep exhaust tone, no drone, no rasp, no smell and never saw a CEL. My dealership didn’t care about them or maybe didn’t even notice them. Warranty intact. Took them off, recently sold the car, and PDI came out flawless. I have them in the garage perfect shape, lifetime warranty from AA against CEL. PM me if you go that route and I’ll give you a good deal since I have no use for them now that the car is sold.

Doesn't remove it as it wont show. It will prevent to shows up.
Yes you have to downpipes so need 2 spacers.
