I'm max low and my driveway is quite steep, I have no issues getting in at an angle or backing up into it at an angle.

In fact, the only clearance issue I have is the metal lip on the Mishimoto oil cooler guard. Bumper has plenty of clearance without any lips.

I know this isnt a measurement, but, I just had surgery, and cant even get into the garage. My knee scooter wont get in between the cars, right now.

However, this is an idea of how steep the driveway is, and how much room I have. The car doesnt rub on the curb going into the driveway, or going up the driveway, which is pretty steep.

About 4.75” with the M Perf carbon front lip. So maybe 5.5 without? In any case, I think your porsche front end hangs out quite a bit further over the front axle which will make a big difference.

On the G83 I measured just under 7" on side lip and about 7" on front lip. We had almost 2" clearance on driveway entering my sloped driveway on extreme angle. All that said, this is technically my wife's car (replacing her/our S7) and she commented on somewhat stiff ride so I ended up taking MPHAS off my order. Seemed to be mixed reviews on whether it rode stiffer with the new springs. Maybe I will do something later with if I end up making this my car.

How can you tell if MP HAS is set to max low just by looking at the suspension with wheels removed?

Yes, check the last picture in my OP. There is no thread spacing between the blue collar and black lower spring perch. That's all the way down.

Ah, got it! And is that the only locking screw in order to manually adjust? I think I read the fronts can be turned by hand?

Yes, the lock screw just keeps the collar from vibrating and spinning. Doesn’t matter much at full low, but, if you had the springs adjusted higher, obviously it would make a difference.

Is the has kit available for a 2025 m4? Called dealer parts an just lots of confusion. They came back with “race only” and a price of about $2200. I must be missing something.

This is a list of the 2025 port installed options. Under 0Z58 is the part number, the number with D979 is the springs. The rest of the part numbers are what BMW suggests you replace with the springs. Some are one time use hardware and recommended to be replaced. $2,200 for the part, alone, is crazy. Plug the part number in, online, and it's much cheaper.

They are available, but price has increased to $3155 I believe for port installed option. If you are looking to purchase just the kit there are a few options to purchase online for about $1400-$1500.

Just had it done at port this week. After arriving from vessel it took a week in total for it to be inspected and then for the work order/installation to be done. Cost to add port install was $3155 for my m3. It is expensive and I know you can essentially get kw v3 coilovers for this price. However, I liked the warranty aspect and the fact it was added to the window sticker.

Nice. Thanks for the update. I agree, it’s nice to just have it already done. If people are leasing they can save money by rezidualizing the cost into the lease.

It doesnt surprise me. My salesman sold BMW for 16 years, and I knew more after spending 2 weeks on this site, than he did.

Have you already taken delivery? if not, you can still add port installed options even if you are past 150 status.

At least the HAS, I’m thinking the options list is pretty long although no one has actually shown one to me. I hear bits and pieces here. I’m sure there are several things I’m not aware of. But it would be interesting, at some point, to peruse. At this juncture I’m just trying to make sensible and optimal choices. Although all fun and interesting.
