Question - AST Adjustable Lowering Spring Kit

Hi everyone,

Not sure if this question has been answered on here before.

I plan to buy an AST adjustable lowering spring kit for my G82.

I'm trying to understand how the adjustable drop affects ride quality. If you lower your car less, will the ride be closer to OEM quality and less harsh? And conversely, if you lower it more, will the ride become harsher?

The AST kits have a very very OEM-line feel, these and the KW HAS kits are very popular on this platform. Lowering only changes the position of the spring perch (not compressing the spring) - so the ride will remain similar to stock.

Both ASTs are KW are in stock if you want to drop by and see the kits in person. We install as well.

Oh okay makes sense! So either way if I have the drop at 10mm or 30mm it’ll ride the same?

Not enough to make a noticeable difference in ride feel. You're safe.
