I'm also looking to see if anyone has tried them as well. I have the H&R sport springs, and I'm getting bored of the not-so-low stance. It could be more flush...

Because the spring coils are installed over the strut body holding the shocks. However, I agree that it is either a typo or an overstatement. The rears are not a coil-over design anyway.

I would like to hear about real-world use. Dinan is recommending setting them at 20 mm front and rear for the M4. To match factory ride? With the other HAS kits most are setting the front flat and the rear at 10 mm.

I really like the spring rates on these; ive been looking at them for 2 months and have added them to cart every week since lol

The suggested height is about preserving the oem struts and will match up the advertised spring rates. The lower you go the more preload you add less compression you'll have. I think that would be beneficial since the oem rebound is more aggressive that I'd like.

The drop will be similar to h&r super sports in the front. I'd consider both of these the main difference being targeting a perfect height and these will be softer in the rear which helps the rear end stick more. If you prefer a tail happy car then these aren't it. If you have 200tw tires; these aren't it.

Definitely a unique option worth considering compared to the others.

For some reason, their regular springs are much more popular with our customers. Most of our HAS customers, go for H&R, AST, or KW.

If you decide to get it, I would be interested in offering you an extra incentive for an honest forum review.

Apologies for the late response, life is rather crazy at the moment. Not sure I understand? Are you saying I should buy just springs vs the kit? All I really want to do is lower the front a bit to get rid of the "crazy" gap and preference is Dinan for parts as I want to keep the car stock'ish or at least with pars that BMW dealer wont balk at or say "oh your glove compartment lock broke because you put on aftermarket HAS". Found a dealer by me that installs Dinan parts...

Other items in play, Edelweiss wheels (20" all around) if I can decide on a damn color and some CF.

I recommend adjustable springs for this car.

What I was saying in the previous post is that the Dinan adjustable springs you are asking about are not as popular as their regular springs. You can opt for the more popular H&R adjustable springs or if you are set on getting Dinan, I can work on a deal with you for their adjustable springs. in return, you would post your honest review on the forums.

Such a misnomer to call them coilovers but I guess they are "coilover sleeves?"

I typically stay away from all HAS kits. The stock dampers just aren't designed to handle them long term and the ride quality diminishes
