Trusted BMW shop in the Upstate SC

Hi guys.
I’m looking for a shop in the Greenville/Spartanburg SC area that can do some work for me. I’m looking to have an exhaust controller and looking to run my M4 on an Dyno. I may also get a mid-pipe and exhaust in the future. I’m looking at front mount intakes. I’ve gotten to the age where I no longer want to do DIY work but want a shop that specializes in Europen cars.

Thanks!

Found a good place. Great folks with lots of BMW experience. I suspect this shop is going to cost me a lot of money.

How were they? I just moved to the Greenville/spartanburg area. Looking for a trusted Indy shop.

They were amazing. Extremely professional, very clean shop. They do a lot of racing. They made me feel at home from the moment I walked in. They did a whole tour with me and had lots of really nice car. Few quick pictures I took attached.

+1 for Thunder Bunny Racing. Facility is next level. Had them install intake, mid pipe, and valve controller.

Will also shout out Upstate Auto Styling in Spartanburg. Did a great job on PPF, ceramic coat, and tint.

Extreme Colors Auto Spa is great for PPF and ceramic too. They do all the BMW Performance Center work. Not cheap but great work!

Will add Precision Wraps and Graphics in Greenville, SC to the list for vinyl wraps. Matt is a great guy and does outstanding work. Just picked up my P-series from getting a satin black wrap

They were too concerned about the AWD of my prior M4 Comp even in RWD mode. They have no concerns about my current M4 since its RWD. They do have a partner that has a AWD dyno they use.

Got it. I know there is some tranny plug on AWD cars you have to unplug to run an AWD on a 2WD dyno. I'd expect you have to have it in 2WD mode too.

I've used Pompeii for tire mounting and balancing. They were really good at that. I did ask them (awhile ago) about putting four Eibachs in M4comp x - but cost was too high. Did in myself. They are good guys, but not super high volume (and I am pretty sure my springs would have been their first in a G80/G82).

I've used Protech - years ago, but had a really bad experience w/ them and will NOT use them again.

Good to hear about Thunderbunny and your being impressed w/ them!

Until the M4 Comp I’ve always had manual “fun” cars. I found the Comp a bit boring for me so I sold it and went with a manual trans car.
