Ordered 3/21 -> Delivered to Dealer 5/21 -> Delivery to me 5/24

My dealer is amazing and threw on the aftermarket front air inlets (black) for me. Already put 100+ miles on it and really enjoying the ride. Got the clutch stop and ///M puddle lights installed after I got home. Am planning to install the OEM CF mirrors and 'breathers' this weekend amongst other items. Car looks great --- Brooklyn Gray doesn't photograph nearly as well as it looks in person. Will post some pics later.

I saw you mention you were blessed with the P-zeros. Since your fate seems to template my own, one week removed, what is your plan? Roll with them? Change down the road? (puns unintended believe it or not)

At home with CF mirrors and breathers installed. Had to remove the "competition" badge from the breathers given that mine is a 6mt, but gonna stick with the black logo (that I did my best to recenter)

Can you provide more pictures of your emblems? I have a 6MT on order and plan on changing the emblems once I take delivery

I'll take some shots tomorrow. He's is what they looked like when I removed the comp badge. Was considering being lazy and just leaving them like this (cleaning up the sticky stuff), but decided it would bother me if the M4 wasn't centered top and bottom

Yes - installed them, the CF mirrors, and the armrest myself yesterday. Of the three, these were by far the easiest install. I used painters tape around the originals (probably overkill, but why not be safe) and both sides popped off in <10 seconds with a pry tool. The new ones popped in super easy. Very simple job -- spent WAY more time with an exacto knife trying to cut the 3m tape perfectly to fit the letters.

If you don't mind me asking, was your dealer pretty reasonable about installing the front air inlets for you? i.e install cost, timing, etc? I'm a week 21 build so working on getting mine hopefully in the next month or so and already regretting not getting the M Carbon package just for the front air intakes (makes such a huge difference over the stock mesh look).

I had intended to get something port-installed but looks like the front air inlets aren't on the port option list unfortunately so that's out. So next step is either buy something like the BMW OEM parts 51-11-8-074-773 and 51-11-8-074-774 and have the dealer throw them on or buy something aftermarket and see if my dealer would work with me to install those. Thoughts?

Mine is going from CA to UT, and my CA said to expect about a week. Not sure if this helps.

My dealer was fantastic, but I've am a long term customer/friend of my dealer (20+ years) and I'm 100% certain this impacted my experience.

That said, you can simply call your dealer and ask them if they can have their parts department do the install for you at the time of pickup. My dealer initially told me he would charge me the 'friends/family' rate for labor, but after the install he told me not to worry about it --- I think it would have been around $250 for the install ---- it took ~2 hours.

My inlets are aftermarket black plastic versions off eBay --- I don't have, or plan to have, any other CF bits in the front and wanted to keep things black. They fit like a glove -- I'm sure the cheaper CF inlets would as well provided you find some others on this board who have had success with them previously.

Considering the status change to in transit probably would have been enough, but my CA called me and told me he received tracking and saw it moving, and provided an ETA day for pick up.
