Best ceramic coating product?

Hi All,

As the title reads, I am looking to find the best possible ceramic coating product money can buy. I have tried looking through the search, but all that’s getting pulled up are detail shops and not the product itself. Thanks in andvace!

pretty sure those are dealer only (ie, serum light vs ultra). otc ones are consumer grade and crystal serum light is a pretty reputable one with some of the gyeon products as well

I hate this question. No, you don't need the "best ever" coating. Quality, enthusiast or "pro-sumer" type peoduct like Gyeon range or carpro et al will more than suffice. The final look will be more determined by your paint correction/prep.

I use Gyeon. Easy to apply, works and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

The crazy expensive stuff is just that. I also don't buy into the "warranties" and longevity claims (5-7 years).

Honestly, the adam graphene ceramic coating is 50$ and is at easy as to put as regular wax if not better. It beads amazingly and last a long time.

I don't disagree. As a note though their "graphene ceramic coating advanced" in the little bottle would have the highest % of the magic chemicals in it and last the longest. It's I think a little over $100 but they always have things on sale. It's probably the most work to put on though.

Odd post / question. The "best" is probably the longest lasting, but also the hardest. Maybe start with some of the sprays that last a year and work your way up. Or just do a spray 1-2 times a year and call it good.

I've had excellent experience with GTechnic CSL and EXO. Both in application and protection. But, yes, this is a fairly subjective topic.

I have used Armor Shield IX Ceramic Coating and had no issues. Actually, all my wheel barrels, external CF parts and some internal CF parts are currently coated with this product.

Car pro reload silica spray is cost effective and shines like a ceramic coating. Easy to apply and probably only needs a few times per year

I had a friend do a stage 1 paint correction etc and apply a spray on ceramic coating that lasted quite a bit (about 8 months before it started to wear off) that was through winter too.

Afterwards during the spring, he just popped by and applied another top coat to maintain it for another year.

Unfortunately I don't have a vehicle to vehicle comparison but in the two photos, the SUV is Gyeon Mohs Evo and the boat is Adam's. Between the two I'd go Mohs Evo. That said, I've been using CQuartz for years. While it is a "thicker" application, the Mohs Evo is so damn easy to apply and works so well I was like f'it on this latest SUV. That X5 pic was taken after a few days in the rain, on a campsite, with all kinds of shit falling on the car. Hard to beat. Adding a layer of Can Coat makes it pop even more, though I have not done that on this one (yet).

I used Gtechnic CSL, Gyeon Mohs Evo, and just recently tried DIY detail 3 year. They all had good results. The gyeon mohs is easy but you should use another type of applicators cause I think the one it comes with soaks up a lot for some reason.

Thought I was the only one! Indeed, the applicator leaves a lot to be desired.

I use Groit’s 3 in 1 Ceramic wax. Lasts one year. Easy application.

Ceramic Pro and Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra. They both offer excellent protection and durability for the paint.
