According to their schedule it is. There aren’t any other ports until CA, so that cuts down on the time to port.

If you look at the WW ships routes, they stop in Sweden, UK, US South, the CA. So that’s where your difference in time is.

4 weeks is pretty normal transit time for that route.

I’m lucky to be on a ship that has to go to San Antonio Chile first so it will swing down and visit the penguins before coming up the west coast.

Well I finally called, and I guess there was some system error on my tracker. It only updated to “in transit” a couple days ago, but BMW Genius says my car was put on the Wild Rose Leader that left on 4/22. I mean the tracker only updated to “in port” on 4/24.

So I guess that is good news, I will get my car a few days earlier than I thought!!

Well it’s been a couple of days since Graceful Leader left, and I’m still showing “At Port”. Now I’ll start keeping my fingers crossed for next week. 😞😢😭

I am sitting there with you my friend. I have been there since 4/25, got flipped to "in transit" on 5/7 and then back to at port on 5/8. When I spoke with Genius earlier this week they only show that I have been at the port since 5/8 which is not true. Almost seems like I lost 2 weeks and my "at port" date was reset to a date that is technically false.

Yeah, I got there a couple of days after you. Or a week and a half before you, according to the Genius ;-)

I spoke with the Genius today and they told me West Coast is averaging 6-8 weeks at port. I don’t think that’s true though. Seems like every time I call, I get a totally different answer. They should rethink the term “Genius”.

Totally. It has gotten to a point where depending on who answers at Genius, I can tell if I am going to get a BS answer or not. There is an older woman that I have gotten a few times and her answers seems very vague and generic. She once told me it's typical to be at port for 3-4 months...
