Laser swivel/cornering lights

I purchased an inventory car and it is not quite spec'd how I would've ordered it, but alas.

Here is my ask: can someone make a video that specifically demonstrates the swivel and cornering function of the laser lights? I could care less about the adaptive lasers (US btw), but I am trying to determine if they would be worth the investment for more directional light while night driving back roads.

I've tried watching some night driving YT vids, but it's quite hard to tell what difference, if any, the slight swivel is doing. Also, pretty sure they have cornering lights, but unsure about when they would turn on, other than activating your signal.

They just turn slightly. It's maybe a 5-10 degree turn with the wheel. It's not super noticeable. I would care more about the adaptive high-beam function than the swiveling lights, especially if you're talking about driving backroads at night.

That and the non-laser pre-LCI lights look pretty terrible IMO

Will the adaptive lights throw more light in a turn than just having the high-beams on? I'm trying to substantiate the likely greater than $3k I'll have to spend to get them.

I agree the 'base' lights aren't as aesthetically pleasing as the lasers, but I also don't find them terrible. I just wish they lit up the road more on the twisties.

The point of them is keeping the high-beams on around areas without oncoming traffic or following behind someone, allowing you to get some better views of the side of the road (in hopes of something like finding a deer wanting to run out into the road more early). That to me is worth the price of admission, really only see the value once you have it I think. I wasn't super impressed until I actually got to use it after coding it.

I don't think the swiveling feature specifically is worth upgrading the lights for.

Here is the link to a video I found demonstrating the swivel and cornering lights:

Just in the event someone has the same question.

That said, after seeing it, I'm still undecided how much it is actually worth. $1k option on order, no question.

Put it simple. It's the option that if you dont spec it, you may not miss it. But if you already have it, you dont want a car without it, especially driving a lot at night.
