what's with these shitty floor mats on a $80k car?
As the title suggests, these mats are hot trash.
Extremely flimsy, feel like low quality, budget mats. |

M Performance floor mats are a nice touch. I did those along with the M Performance arm rest. Great combo.

These new Audi interiors are heavy on screens and a big departure from Audi interiors of just a few years ago, not sure I'm sold on them but haven't experienced it firsthand. Waiting on the new RS5 right now, or maybe the new Model 3 performance. Thinking of a swap later this year. M3P is insane when you consider it's like a 45k car that's faster than these M's. Not to mention practical, cheap to run, has Autopilot, etc. |

Yes. Paying extra for the full merino leather and close to 100k. The floor mats should be at lest m performance. The stock ones are cheap.

Does anyone know if the M Performance mats are actually a thicker pile, or do they just have a nicer looking trim?

^^^ The floor mats aren’t the important part. I pull them out anyway and run Weathertechs. The retention system is the game changer in Audi. Shits just snap in place and do not move. Super nice.

It is true , I’ve always thought this. My wife’s Lexus NX has nice mats, say Lexus at least and Decent quality. Wouldn’t be too difficult to at least put M3 or BMW on them. But they have been basic on all previous M’s I’ve had so I’m use to it.
