Good deal? Too late!
Help me out, I just made an impulse buy. I was looking for AWD but got this instead!

Whoever owned that didn’t bother taking it in for the break-in service. Could be a good thing or a bad thing considering there’s ZERO record of any services. Obviously who had it modded it, so it’s possible it was serviced outside the dealer, especially if it was flashed. Hopefully you don’t pay 78k for it. It’s a bit high for a base, but at least it has carbon buckets.

It’s a manual or automatic brother. 🤙 Everything else is spot on. I would say $67,000 is close to what I would pay. But then I would want around 14k miles too. |

You may not call a 6 speed a “base” but that is what BMW calls the manuals. I’m not a huge fan of calling it a base but since that is the only way to get a manual, it is what it is.
OP: if you already purchased the car congratulations. Don’t worry about people saying you paid too much. Does not really matter since you already purchased it. Best of luck with it! |

Beautiful spec man. Carbon fiber buckets are a bonus and tons of carbon bling. Already been lowered. Cold air intake. Okay miles for a two year old car.
Don't listen to the naysayers. If YOU like it, take care of it and enjoy it!! |

Thanks. And great eye. I didn’t noticed it was already lowered. Notice anything else I’m not noticing?
Also, how can I tell if the car has been tuned where the ECU has been unlocked? |

I have a 2022 M3 manual, buckets car that I bought used in August last year.
I’m generally not much of a mods person but that car does look really good. So, if you like the mods, then there is value there. I would want to know about overall condition (pics look good), ppf, service records, warranty and what mods were installed and by who. But really a great looking M3 in great spec (manual and buckets). Have fun! |

There is zero service records on its CARFAX. Seems weird that even the first one isn’t on there. I do all my service myself, but even if I bought new, I’d have taken it in for the initial 1200 mile one and after that done all others myself. I would have definitely used that as a bargaining chip to lower the cost and aftermarket parts and mods should have lowered the value, not gone up. Well, to me they’d be valuable, but the dealership doesn’t need to know that. Lol
Like I said, if it was all done and the car wasn’t abused to hell and back until I got it, it would be a good thing, but given the mods and no service, that means someone bought it and either took care of it themselves and maybe had to sell it because they couldn’t afford it or they ran into a problem with it and got rid of it. They wouldn’t have told it to upgrade to another M3 or 4 because I’d think they just move over all of their parts since a dealer wouldn’t give them more money for that. Here’s the CARFAX link for it. It was also a NY car that ended up going to auction from a GM dealership. https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistor...amGq_lYZMsljpD Last edited by SwankPeRFection; 04-28-2024 at 11:16 AM.. |

Get in BM3 website and read up on how to use the software, then grab a copy and do a query on the DME to see if it’s unlocked. You could also ask BM3 support as well because if it is unlocked you may be able to transfer the license to your name. Either way, if it’s unlocked, that saved you about 1k worth of money, so that’s good.

When I bought my 2023 M3 it was called the base model. It's the only way to get the manual which sucks. I'd love to have the stick in a x-drive!
I still call mine the base model.... And yeah, good deal. The only way to go is with the stick! That's a great color combo too, wow! |
