So which color do you like better…and why?

Great question. They both look great. I think the darker shade suits the G80 better because of the large front grille. The Mexico blue really pops in sunlight. I don’t have a favorite.

Agree that the darker shade suits the lines of the G80 better. Both colors have been on my long list of individual color choices for a BMW. Thinking of finally doing one of them on an M5 Touring and thinking Voodoo would be a better choice due to the lines of the car (based on current renders of course).

Just beautiful, Habs. Congratulations to you. Thank you for posting these. Can’t wait for more pics.
Your F80 Mexico Blue looks so much lighter (dare I say turquoise) next to the Voodoo G80. Assuming the camera hasn’t altered the reality of either color, I’m now starting to wonder if BMW Mexico Blue is slightly lighter than BMW Daytona Beach Blue. I’ve never seen Mexico, Daytona, or Voodoo in person, but am just wondering based on these and other pics. Anyone? |

Thanks man. I believe Mexico and Daytona are the same. Should be just a name change. If I am not mistaken, it is still labeled as Mexico Blue over in euro land. MB is definitely lighter than VB. I’ll get some better shots with a proper camera this weekend. This was taken with a crappy iPhone.
