Lightbulb CSF Oil Cooler fabrication

Any input? Who has installed? Anyone install with Turner Motorsports skid plate?

Last photo of lip rivet identification (drill out) for interference issue(s) skid plate installed. Not a big deal but a bit more $$$ for fab. It's only money. Don't sweat the small stuff.

Why the f doesn’t CSF just update their coolers to work with the new fittings? It’s stupid for them to ask the user to chop up their OEM part. For a company that talks so much shit about how good their fabrication is on their parts, this is one of those times they didn’t do what they say.

We would like to clear up any confusion here about this.

Please note, the design was updated immediately after the first batch.

When we developed the G8X Oil Cooler, we based the design off the OE #17118095293. This earlier model oil cooler was later superseded by the OE #17215A4DF50. We became aware of this update after the first production run of the oil coolers where it was discovered the oil lines for the newer OE design were slightly different. The instructions were simply a temporary fix on the first batch of oil coolers. The updated Oil Cooler fits with all the various OE oil lines.

CSF is dedicated to having the best fitment possible for our products. Situations like this are quite rare but when we do discover an issue we resolve it as quickly as possible.
