Always found this funny that the M cars require a 1200 miles service but cars like a GT4/RS GT3/RS and many more higher end cars with higher strung engines dont.

Yes! I heard about warranty being voided because of not performing the 1200 miles break in service. It’s a deal breaker for me.

Correct on the latter. There have been Porsches I’ve bought that I did do a slight break in but others simply just got oil to temp and then right to redline. Even my buddy who is a GM of a Porsche dealer just says to romp on it right away - the engines that come from porsche centers for track days usually are the strongest and obviously them CPO’ing them tells you they have no concern with them simply being new, right up to oil temp and then driven hard for hours upon hours a day for months before PCNA sends them to dealers to then sell.
