After comparing the springs that open and close the valves, I could tell one was shorter than the other yielding less tension to keep valve closed. Although I never close my valves I still didn’t want to know it rattled so I was able to stretch the spring to provide necessary tension and stop the rattle. Not a big deal at all.

Is that rattling everyone is experience still present for those who have the dahler valve controller?

Has nothing to do with the valve controller brand. It’s the valves themselves but TFL has a fix for that. They sent me some bushings to install to take up the very little amount of slack/play in the spring. I assume these come with the kits now.
