My new buddy kgelfen360 on the forums here helped install my new yellow DRL's. Love them! His M3 next to mine.

Add me to the club as of Saturday. I love IMOG/Kyalami Orange. I almost purchased a G83 IOMG 6 months ago but it had a Fyord blue interior and it just looked off to me.

I would 100% recommend them. They look even better IRL than the pictures. They are a pretty inexpensive modification in the grand scheme of things for a pretty substantial change in look IMO. If you do it, definitely get the ones with the chips already attached to the heat sinks so you could easily switch back to OEM if you want/need to.

You may recall I had a 2023 IOMG M3 xDrive. Shortly after I took delivery of it in June 2023, I applied for and accepted a new job working for the US Gov overseas in Germany. You may know, BMW FS does not allow customers to export vehicles with active loans, and with refinance rates so high, and the timing of it all, I made the very difficult decision to sell the car back to the dealer on the last day of 2023, just weeks before I moved abroad. I was truly devastated as I worked really hard for the car, and it was my first time ordering a car exactly as I wanted.
Anyway, shortly after arriving in Germany and getting settled, I made a decision to order another M3 - *exactly* the same as my 2023, but I did add ventilated seats LOL There is a dealership here who specializes in US Military sales and I got a great deal - 10% off MSRP and tax-free! I ordered Feb 8 and just picked it up today! The salesman was able to take over a planned build and customize it for me. I am so, so grateful I was able to get back into this amazing machine! The only bummer is going through that break-in period once again, but at least I have the (unrestricted) Autobahn 3 minutes from my new house. Anyway, here's my brand new, take 2, 2024 M3 Competition with xDrive! |

He ordered KO before. Tartufo is a rich saddle brown. You can look through my posts for example. I have Tartufo.

It's Kyalami Orange - same as my previous spec. The Tartufo is gorgeous though - just a little too sophisticated for me!

Saw that you have the M Performance Sports Suspension. I am considering it. Curious to hear your thoughts on that and how you went about getting it installed (port?).

Haha. I love the orange too. It was between KO or Tartufo for me. Silverstone was my other option because I have it in the E39. Can't go wrong with any of those.

Touch-up paint for IOMG
I need a recommendation for touch-up paint for IOMG. I recall there was a post early this year or late last year on the subject either in this thread or in the General Topics thread. A link to that thread would be very helpful.

I ordered the car with it as a port installed option. There is a big thread about it. Totally worth it in my opinion and I’m fairly resistant to lowering cars. I’ve made a few posts on it.

In a parking deck in Strasbourg, France. Zipped down yesterday to check it out - beautiful city and an incredible experience ripping down the Autobahn here in Germany. This car absolutely SWALLOWS the road!
