Probably a dumb question but here goes.. Can I install a valve controller with AWE switchpath? If yes, will there be any drone/rasp since AWE advertises no drone with factory valve setup?

it does drone a little at 80-90mph if you are using the midpipe. Any exhaust system that removes the resonators is going to have at least some mild drone at that 2000 rpm range. Thats what the resonators do, eliminate that drone. Anyone who tells you otherwise is in denial. You’ll notice most demo videos are “cruising” at 70mph or less to demonstrate “no drone” That said, it’s not bad at all and you mostly just notice it at that cruising speed under load, especially up a small incline. In town driving there is no drown because you aren’t at that speed with the load on it in the higher gear. |
