BMW almost certainly engineers the vast majority of parts that go into the car. A lot of the small things like connectors and wires are probably off-the-shelf products, but they at least have a hand in actually designing things like the screens, buttons, headunits, liners, seats, etc. Most of the stuff isn't *manufactured* by BMW, which is maybe what you meant.

I have not busted my oil cooler yet so I guess it’s working.
My car is not lowered but the way the oil cooler is placed is less than ideal so better safe…Even my CA thought it was a good idea and they installed it for free (yes, I know it’s a 5 minute job for some). |
