New 2024 g80 M3 with Lease Agreement
Hi Team,
I just recently leased my new BMW M3 from Irvine BMW in California. Here are my Terms. BMW BASE M3 MSRP: $94,100 Term: 36 Months Down: $0 Payment: $1,587.61 Miles:10K Buyout option: $59,154 Diamond Ceramic Coating: $750 (Warranty on exterior and interior for 7 years) I couldn't Finance, the money factor was way better than the APR. Let's have a discussion here, did i get slammed or what lol. I think i did good, knowing the 2024's compared to 2023's got way worse residuals. P.s I hate the new entertainment center, have to press 2 buttons to get the AC going.... Why did they do this????!?!??!! Why did they remove the physical buttons. Lastly, is this the last manual M.

Congrats on the new car, the great colors, and especially specifying the correct number of pedals.
I wouldn't worry about the deal, if you got screwed or beat them down; if you paid MSRP you did well, and now it's just time to enjoy it! You really should tie your shoelaces.

I used the balloon payment option. 5 years at 5.99% with a ballon of 32k at the end of 5 years. This keeps my payment lower than 83 months at 8.88%

A. No, you didn't get slammed, that's about what it should be on a %94k car.
B. No one yet knows if this will be the last manual M3. |

Congrats and welcome. Love the contrast of the dark bits on that grey.

https://www.thedrive.com/news/bmw-m-...il-2030-report I'd say it's a surefire bet that the next M3 won't have a manual transmission, given transition to EV/Hybrid powertrains. The take rate for the manual is incredibly low too, which is disappointing. I'm a big 6MT guy and for me personally, I don't think anything compares to the feeling of shifting gears. |

That's including tax and interest over 3 years assuming this is a 36 month lease. The buyout is about right, but leases are never going to beat straight up paying cash, so yes it's going to be higher. They would save about $10k with a cash purchase. That being said, this lease monthly payment is about right. With no discounts and low incentives, the magic lease deals for M cars are a thing of the past, and won't be back for some time. MiladsFrozenM5 was the residual 58%? 36 months? What's the MF nowadays?

thats what the deals are like now.. i remember the good old days when you could lease a BMW with 0 down and pay 1% of the MSRP for a 3 year 10k/year lease..

You definitely checked all the boxes with key options! At the end of the day a car 99% of the time isn’t an investment. As long as you’re happy with the spec and enjoy the car that’s win in my book. Good luck with it!

Also I assume you meant compared to if you wanted to finance it that long. 10 years paying off a car is ridiculous, you're going to end up paying more over 10 years than you would on a slightly higher interest rate over 5 or 6. |

Looks incredible man! I’ve specced my build out similarly, but with Frozen Pure Grey and Tartufo. I really wanted the bucket seats because they look amazing but I just couldn’t get used to the thigh bolsters sadly. My heart says yes but brain says no. Maybe for another M car down the line perhaps. But nonetheless beautiful build and enjoy it!

Yes, I meant compared. 83 months is not 10 years. That would be 120 months 😉 I would never take a 120 month term for a car as I don’t keep them that long. Everyone’s situation is different and if someone intends to keep their car for more than 10 years I’m in no position to question the term of their loan. 83 months was 8.88% through BMW but my Credit union offers a 120 month loan at 9.35%. Maybe the person is buying beyond their means but again, not my place to tell people what is best for them. I’m happy there are people who can pay cash for their car. Most of us are not in that position. |

The finance situation is reflective of where the market is today and unfortunately I don’t think we’ll ever see the days again where leases were so damn sweet. I love cars, there are just other things I also enjoy in life that have price tags too. |
