Thanks... a lot of sacrifices along the way make this purchase even sweeter. I'm excited for it to arrive in November!

Realistically, with trying to put 3 kids through college (one in now, another one going next year and my youngest is in high school) and also trying to save for retirement, I just couldn't justify the extra cost in my earlier years. Now that I am good shape for those two big items, I am buying my first M. My wife basically said "do what you want.... I don't need to know the cost!" I couldn't buy a car like this and have my kids saddled in student loan debt, so my "gift to myself" was once I had the 529s fully funded, I got to buy my dream car. G83 arrives in November!
I'm most impressed with 3!@!!!

I've only got two the 3rd child adds another Carrera S in there.

Yes, each child full 4 years conservatively is a Carrera S. All private schools, more like a Huracan for each.

I’m dating myself, I know. The age groups with 50+ respondents range from 28 to 42. In 1995, when I bought my first E36 M3 (new), these G80/G82 owners were somewhere between diapers and a freshly minted driver’s license.

Just goes to show the model(s) is attracting new owners over its six generations, vs. appealing mainly to the same demographic who ages along with the nameplate (thinking of you, H-D). Bodes well for the future!

I just turned 35. This is my third M car. The first was purchased in 2013 as a 25 year old.
