Does Euro delivery affect US warranty?
I’m looking at buying a M3 from a guy who bought it while stationed in Germany with the Air Force.
On the build sheet it says 3 years unlimited miles for the warranty. Obviously the US warranty is 4 years 50k miles. Is there anything else about a Euro delivery that affects owning it in the US? I’m probably just being paranoid because buying from private sellers makes me nervous. Thanks for any help with this |

If he bought it in Germany via Military sales while stationed over there, it's US Spec car, but not sure about the warranty.
European Delivery, in its previous incarnation, was essentially the same as buying it in the US, which is not the same as the car in your case. Edit: This link says it's 4/50. https://bavarianmotorcars.com/en/warranty |

Some higher enlisted ranks can afford it, especially if they have a spouse who works or is in the military. The military doesn’t preclude them from saving money for a decent down payment either.
Commissioned officers and pilots can definitely afford it receiving flight pay incentives etc. |

BMW’s are bought all the time here and shipped back to be sold or for further use with no problems. |

I am currently here in Germany and purchased all my BMW's though military sales. I can verify that it's a 3 years unlimited miles warranty when it's in Europe and 4 years 50k miles when it's in the states.

Being stationed overseas, a service member can sock away more than someone stationed stateside, if you play it right. I believe there are still special deals to be had for military folks stationed in Europe, especially in Germany. An O-3 (captain) especially with flight pay as well as senior enlisted can easily afford a M3.
