2024 LCI for 4 Series - Hints towards the M4/M3 LCIs?

The latest spy photos of the LCI for the 4 series next year show some upcoming changes to the head lights, etc. Guessing that we’ll see the M4 (and possibly the M3?) get some of the same changes.

Afraid so. Also means that the laser lights will be no more.

And despite all of the comments, the grill isn’t changing which I am okay with.

But should also mean that the adaptive matrix LED headlights (which do the antidazzle beamforming magic) will be standard, rather than only available if the $1000 laser lights are purchased.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to get the lasers for those rare occasions when I'm alone on a road at night, but this change isn't necessarily ALL bad.

The new design language of the DRL on BMW is horrid, in my opinion. If these lights make it to the M3/M4 as part of the LCI, then I am glad I am not getting them on my '23 G80.

I can buy the MBelts later if I feel the itch to spend $ on minor aesthetics.

I remember one comment from the X5/X6 launch where they said that their LED headlights closed the gap with their laser lights and thus the lasers will no longer be offered. Not sure how much of that is just marketing though.

I wouldn't be surprised if they kept the headlights the same on the M3/4 as they are currently. If the M3 CS will be a 2024 model year, then I don't think they will change the headlights for the 2024 M3/4. Maybe later but it seems like they have always differentiated the headlights between the M3/4 models and the 3/4 series someway. If they change though, I will be happy with my 2023 M3 lasers lights.... if it ever gets here lol.

I ordered in Oct 2021 and was first in line for an xDrive at that dealer. Dealer still has not received any allocations so I finally switched to a different dealership in December and received an allocation a month later for a Feb. build. It's built and waiting at the port now so hopefully just another 4-6 weeks to go.

Looks like minor update in terms of exterior. Would be good to see the rear lights. Prefer the current DRL then the look of the new ones.

Will be keeping mine for a while.

The year is a typo in the source page as well as this thread - from what I've gleaned, the 2025 model year will be LCI for the 4 series as well as M3/M4. The 3 series just had their LCI but the M3 shares the front end with the 4 series.

The new DRL on the 3 series look great. But the X5 and X6 look terrible. These photos look closer to those on the X5 and X6. And man do they look a let less premium and detailed compared to the current Laser Icons.

Will be disappointing for sure if this is what the M3 and M4 get

Not a typo. 2024 is the year for the LCI, meaning the production year. It’s for the MY25 cars.

Can’t tell too much from those pics but I hope the LCI tail lights look good. Seems like it’ll be a direct swap.

Not a big fan of thr LED lights especially on the LCI x7 there is a dead spot in between the low and high. I find it sad that I spent on my wife's car over 100k and deal with that crap.
