Mine were off a decent amount after lowering. I put tape on the garage wall and marked where they were before lowering the car, then after lowering and settling I adjusted using the white screw hole adjusters in the engine bay to bring it back to where it was. Easy peasy.

People want to adjust them, but there are sensors on the drivers side shocks for self leveling.

Mine didn’t self adjust back to where they were after two weeks. I would think if they were going to correct themselves they would have by then. Just my 2C.

Why would you want to adjust them back to where the stock height car hits the garage door? That would increase the angle? Am I missing something here?

The big part missing of the procedure here is that you should find a wall, park your car as close to the wall as you can before the car is lowered, then measure and mark the center of the light beam. After lowering your car, do the same and match up the centers.

Simple geometry tells us this is a terrible idea - no offense.

The closer you are to the wall, the greater the angle of adjustment will be, the higher the headlights will project upward over a road surface. I'm willing to bet if people listened to this advice, they'd have headlights shining off the road. JUST MY 2C.

Consider an angle of 5deg at 1ft, and then consider it at 100ft - it's going to be bad.

If we're talking about lifted trucks, I would agree. But when a car has been lowered less than an inch, the angle difference isn't going to be quite that drastic.

I did make a mistake in saying "After lowering your car, do the same and match up the centers." as that should instead say to match up the centers from a distance.

General rule of thumb is to measure the height of your beam near the bumper, after 25 feet it should be 2" lower.
