G80 is more refined, faster, '23 interior is a love it or hate it cause of the screen, less personality IMO, transmission makes the car pretty smooth, but boring to drive lol, great for daily

F80 looks better, steering required more input (which I like)

Both sound like poop lol

It's hard for me to compare my F80 vs G80 as my F80 has a lot more done and has more higher quality parts

I switched from my f80 (2016 with a 6mt) to the g80 cxd and am really happy. I think the biggest improvement is the AWD system. My f80 had about 550 whp but it was worthless up to 60 mph because I couldn’t get traction. My g80 (just drop in filters and cat back) is so much faster, can’t wait to tune it and put on downpipes to see what it can really do. On top of being faster, it’s much more composed and solid feeling. Love the car

Love the build and style! I really need to see Toranto red in person. I'm secretly hoping a canceled cinnabar red order pops up lol. Just going to have to settle with what comes up available

TR looks pretty nice in those pics. I've been on the fence with it for my new M2 color choice. Mostly due to everyone saying how orange it is. Haven't seen it in person yet. Anyone with experience in TR on their vehicle?

Toronto Red is more like Red Orange, in photos it's pretty red though..

TR ftw. But I just don’t get the JDM wheels on a German car. To each their own…

I went flaccid when I saw the Nissan wheels on a BMW. Sorry…just an observation…hoping you saved the original wheels.

Sweet car! Can’t wait to finish mine next week (@ProdigyM3 on ig). Did you have any issues with the tires being 1.1% diameter difference? Did a 285 squared on mine because of it

Factory is also staggered (275/285), there's no must to be square from what I read

I read 285/30/20 and 295/30/20 is the correct size for xdrive

The F gen is looking dated now. I thought the F80 was gorgeous for so long, but recently I am starting to see the F gen cars around me not quite the same.

The M cars are still nice enough, but the regular F series… I actually don’t think it’s aging all that well. I’m sure I can’t be the only person who thinks that.

When you put the two next to each other it’s kinda glaring. If the F80 had a lot of work done to it, then sometimes they still look amazing… but I don’t think the stock cars look as good anymore. I def didn’t feel that way in 2020 when I first saw the new G80. I was horrified by it.

Weird how this does seem to happen each gen.
Im slowly starting to feel the same way. Will probably be looking to place an order sometime next year once LCI is released just so I dont get FOMO.
