Didn’t notice it before but it’s cool that the gold wheels are the standard offering and the black wheels are the option.

Un-related side note, anyone still have a sliver of hope that they’ll one day bring back the Euro delivery option? I mean, if they completely nixed the program, wouldn’t they just remove that line item for the pricing guide after all these years of not offering it?

So orders with options are already submitted by dealers? If so, can anything be changed?

According to an email sent out yesterday, final configurations are due Feb 1 and production is one per center in the US (for now) until December 2023

What remained unclear to me is if it was modifiable at all.

I had my allocation modified and confirmation it was completed by corporate. As for other dealers, some said they were unable to do it. Not sure what to believe at this point, but I have my car in my spec, so i'm happy.

Dealers got a communication to modify a "special edition" M3 via a form. So technically yes, I believe today is the last day for modification. only 1 per dealership for now.

We thought we would get the same amount as we did with F80 CS and took 6 deposits. We are a store that does MSRP only as well. We are about to make 5 heartbreaking phone calls.

Naw that’s not even remotely true. I know 2 dealers who aren’t charging an ADM. Why are you making up ADMs? Did you call every dealer in the country?

I know of 3 other dealerships that are msrp too and I only reached out to 5. And there are a total of 367 BMW dealerships in the US.

A fully loaded CS is $132695. A comparable M3 xdrive (leaving out options that wouldn't be on the CS) with individual paint would be an MSRP of $115,745. That means the CS is $16,950 more than the xdrive model. Thats not a huge premium and great value....at MSRP.

While I advised people against paying ADMs for CSLs (just due to their specialized nature: 2 seats, coupe, RWD), i think if BMW only sends 367-500 CSs to the US, $140-$150k will be the fair value going rate for this car.

Once again, thats because of its nature: AWD, 5 seats, 0-60 times. Its going to have very similar demand as the M5 CS. BMW is the only brand who still makes a car like this.
