M4 CSL added to the collection

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
After not receiving an allocation first time around we managed to get one after meeting some BMW UK people at a launch party for BMW Park Lane.

This car joins mine and Bilal (my co-founder of Eventuri) BMW M collection which includes the E46 M3 CSL.

Not planning on doing much to this one as the Evolve G82 M4 will be the one getting the crazy modifications.

Car is going for full PPF before we do the RIS so driving reviews will follow. I have extensively driven Studie AGs M4 CSL in Japan and can confirm its very different to the M4C.

Yes! Congrats, how exciting for you guys. I'm excited too cause this car needs an intake as does my CSL. Make mine matte black please! Paired with your engine cover in matte with red lettering and the red outlined CSL ///M badge (not sure if boot badge fits on cover though).

Congrat and nice job with the photos! Any chance you know the camber specs? It seems pretty obvious from the photos that BMW has dialed in more negative camber than the base car

Habibi how long did you have to wait for it to be a nice day to take these photos?

I don't even see the ground wet haha.

Damn, that is strut brace porn right there.

I never thought I'd be so envious of another's strut brace, but I guess there's always a first time for everything.

I can't believe I'm even considering ordering one of them, but that under-the-hood shot is just sex, from the factory.

I want the brace even more than I want the rear lights (thank goodness, because it's wayyyy less expensive )

Imran, did you always plan to get this prior to your Japan trip, or did the drives in japan push you over the edge to want an allocation again?

Also these pics confirm again how good the car looks with normal OEM BMW badges. The anniversary badges detract from the car imo.

Very exciting that you guys bought this car. It really needs an intake to take it to the next level from a sound perspective. Hopefully as an owner, it’s a labor of love for you guys to unlock that missing piece of the CSL.

Congrats Imran@Evolve Now we at least know the intake is coming!!

I saw the sneak peak on the mint car. I should have kept my CSL strut brace.

I would be totally down for an intake and delete the ASD.

Congrats on the purchase! Are you going to take that red kidney ribon off? I think I will once the car arrives. I remember you mentioning on a video that it is fairly straightforward to peel off. Do you think it can be done with the grill mounted in place?

The car was delivered while we were in Japan. My experience with it just made me more excited to pick it up on our return!

Intake is coming soon. We had already 3D printed a prototype to test before the CSL brace arrived.

Thanks! We did take the red tape off on the OE grills we fitted to our G82 but I think we will leave them on the CSL.

Should be able to come off pretty easily with the grill on the car.

There's a very subtle edge that you can peel with the grill in place. Thought about taking it off but I've grown fond of it.

Thanks!

You can feel the difference in the way the car drives. We haven't put it on the alignment ramp to check what the settings are yet.

Why would you want to? It helps make the grill less ugly
