An hour earlier to wash off the Christmas road dirt. Ceramic definitely helps

With the amount of fireworks we play here in Hawaii, there’s no sense washing the car before new years as it will just be covered in smoke and dust…gotta wait til the day after new years. Lol.

Lol no that’s a different island. Here on Oahu it’s like a war zone on new years eve with everyone lighting off aerials. It’s gotten to the point that at midnight people will stop on the middle of the freeways to watch all the fireworks being blown at certain parts of the island. If you YouTube Oahu new year’s fireworks you’ll see what I’m talking about. Lol.

This is what New Year’s Eve looks like on Oahu. It’s just normal people playing fireworks and not a show being put on.

That’s awesome. Here in CA if I smuggle in a sparkler I’ll get a ticket and lectures about fire safety

Oh none of these fireworks are legal here in Hawaii. Aerials have always been banned here and about 6-7 years ago they banned all fountains, sparklers, and the rest of the novelty fireworks here on Oahu. Once they did that everyone just started buying all the illegal aerials and that’s when it started getting crazy like this.

But the prices of these aerials are ridiculous. A cake that you can find on the mainland for like $20 will cost you about $100 here. If the state was smart they would just legalize all fireworks and tax it.
