Definitely push them. If your financing is through BMW, they will sometimes extend a rate lock given the delays are on their end.

Unfortunately not through BMW. That would certainly make the logistics a little easier. Through a CU local to me that I pretty much do all my financial stuff with. Already had to extend it once so hopefully they can pull some strings if needed

I'm taking delivery at the dealer. I doubt if I will be there when it comes off the truck though. If I can get them to take a pic of the truck I will get it to you. I work with the Sales Manager, so he isn't always as responsive as a normal SA.

Sales guy has been super responsive the whole time but of course when delivery time comes he gets sick so he's been out the last few days and I've been working with the sales manager. Definitely made it a little tougher to constantly talk back and forth with him to make sure all the little details were right on the deal since they're sending me the paperwork. Overall though they've definitely been pretty great to work with.

Sorry to say I heard from the dealer and BMW NA that my G83 did not make it onto a truck as planned yesterday and will now not be delivered until next week. Given this, I doubt that we will be sharing a truck unless yours is delayed as well.

I've been stuck "At the Port" in Baltimore since 11/26. I hope it's just a trucking delay and not part of a new stop sale.

I called genius today and the car is at the port in Brunswick, but there is definitely a stop sale on my car as well. Something to do with the backup camera...
