Jb4 on track

Does anyone track their car with a jb4 installed? How are your experiences with it?

The car does not lack power. My advice is to spend the $ on good driving instruction, brakes and suspension (in that order).

Last week a guy in GT3 cup car ask if I had a tune. I'm bone stock but I've done 20+ events at that track including several ride alongs from racers.

All the speed comes from the corner enrry and exit. Bump, set, spike.

My understanding is that some people got check engine lights with JB4 on while tracking.
Maybe someone can confirm or deny this.

Needless to say, I would just turn it off regardless. You're only generating more heat and stress with it without much benefit.

I did do a novice track day over the weekend with map 5 running e35. When I got in a strait away I went full throttle and got a drive train malfunction. I restarted the car and it went away. Changed to map 4 and didnt get it again. I think map 5 was to hot.
