Bone stock, just the Manhart Powerbox on their default map and 93 octane.
My car is EU spec, so with OPF ... but soon is coming R44 turbo back exhaust (sportcat dp + titanium exhaust) and Eventuri intake. I am expecting around 600 whp ... but we will see. |

New to the forum and recently jumped into a pre-owned G80 Comp with 6000 km.
I am trying to set a base-line using Dragy for the 100 200 km/h before I start with modifications. However the Pirellis do not hook that well and the car is losing some traction. Temps are about 10 Celsius and my region is approaching summer so I guess the traction will be improved. But, I recon after tuning the traction will be worse. 1. Have started to look at alternative rubber with more bite: PS4S, Cup 2, new Conti 7, Atturo AZ-850 (good reviews from North America). Will only be used in summer and not too dangerous if caught in the rain any suggestions welcome. 2. What settings are optimal for the 100 200 km/h sprint? I am currently on the sportiest settings accept the traction that I have as DSC on and if slightly warmer I use MDM mode. DSC off is a joke. 3. Shifting gears: The best time I recorded so far was 7,75 (100-200 km/h) with good DA and the computer did all the work: flooring at 75 km/h and the car goes through gears 3, 4 and 5. I have tried the paddles for the 3, 4 and 5 and also tried to keeping the 4th forcing it to redline until 200 km/h with no improvement. Is it stupid to mix computer aid and paddles? Was thinking of letting the car start in auto moving over to the paddles and then the question arises what rpm to shift? Running 98 octane (EU) / 93 North America, not yet mixing any E85. Compared to my Unitronic stage 2 RS3 Daza (no E85 as I had stock injectors) that I managed best at 6,9 seconds for the 100 200 km/h and that car was about 9,3 seconds stock the G80 is strong out of the box. |

My xDrive ran 7.75s but that was using Launch Control and accelerating all the way up On a regular 100-200 run I usually switch DSC fully off and put car into 3rd gear around 75 km/h and then start accelerating, a little bit before the redline I switch the gear lever to the right so it goes into Auto mode and let the car accelerate. I usually get around 7.9s/8s this way (remember xDrive weighs 50kg more). This is also with 99 RON (EU)

Low 5's 60-130 stock turbo is not accurate, wouldn't buy everything you might hear. Low 6's/high 5's is what these cars generally do FBO on E with a solid tune, so it's not definitely not slow. Stiig even after upgrading turbos at 800wheel had a minor improvement to mid 5's compared to his stock turbo numbers. Darrell is constantly testing and is doing mid 6's although no PI, but again he wouldn't just crack low 5's with PI

PUMP GAS RESULTS ONLY
Only valid runs with slips please As the title states, most people dont run jungle juice every day and I cant keep up with E mixes/race fuel (100+ octane) or otherwise. So I am making this thread to see which setup seems to run fastest on good ole 91-93 octane. All stages are welcome to post times. Will consider adding another thread for bigger mods and fuels but its going to get out of hand very quickly Ill get things kick started and start collecting the data below Please list Car type (G80/G82/G83 etc/awd/manual/comp), Fuel type (91 or 93 only) Tune information (stage and map information) Exhaust/intake modifications Rims / tire sizes and brand Road surface if applicable (ie at the strip) Launch technique if different from owners manual STOCK 0-60 mph 2.99 Alexp19 post 270, G82 AWD 3.09 Impulse20098 post 266, G80 AWD 3.14 sleepdoc post 18, G80 awd 3.14 Y@nnick post 38, G80 awd 3.20 yousefnjr post 216, G82 awd 3.24 HappyRock post 45, G83 awd 3.27 forza1976 post 40, G80 awd 3.34 Patton250 post 95, G80 awd 3.86 iviegatron post 119, G80 rwd 3.95 Odinsrighthand post 76, G80 rwd 1/4 mile 11.04@123.49 Alexp19 post 270, G82 AWD 11.16@122.46 Y@nnick post 38, G80 awd 11.18@121.89 Impulse20098 post 266, G80 AWD 11.23@121.77 sleepdoc post 18, G80 awd 11.232@122.23 M4LAKA post 238, G82 awd 11.29@122.68 forza1976 post 40, G80 awd 11.30@121.30 FinalV8 post 17, G80 awd 11.32@119.52 Southern post 268, G80 AWD 11.76@122.42 Odinsrighthand post 76, G80 rwd 11.79@120.88 iviegatron post 119, G80 rwd 100-200 kph 8.35 Sbm007 post 77, G80 awd 8.37 sleepdoc post 18, G80 awd 60-130 mph 9.06 forza1976 post 40, G80 awd 9.68 sleepdoc post 54, G80 awd 9.70 Y@nnick post 38, G80 awd 9.70 iviegatron post 119, G80 rwd STAGE 1-2 or other mods ie slicks 0-60 mph 2.65 Sbm007 post 258, G80 awd 2.85 PLife post 33, G80 awd 2.89 Y@nnick post 56, G80 awd 2.89 [The Flying Scotsman] Post 296, G80 AWD 2.92 Pirate1 post 213, G80 awd 2.93 destoyan post 281, G80 AWD *0-100 km/h 2.98 1BAD_M3CX post 120, G80 awd 3.02 Spykexx post 232, G80 awd 3.05 HappyRock post 107, G83 awd 3.08 findm3 - Post 303, G80 AWD 1/4 mile 10.33@132.98 Sbm007 post 258, G80 awd 10.59@131.79 Y@nnick post 62, G80 awd 10.60@131.71 destoyan post 281, G80 AWD 10.61@130.31 PLife post 33, G80 awd 10.62@131.40 Pirate1 post 251, G80 awd 10.80@130.34 simsimma120 post 269, G80 AWD 10.83@129.13 findm3 - Post 303, G80 AWD 10.84@125.25 [The Flying Scotsman] Post 296, G80 AWD 10.85@126.95 1BAD_M3CX post 120, G80 awd 10.98@127.15 Spykexx post 232, G80 awd 10.99@124.35 HappyRock post 107, G83 awd 10.993@126.87 Mcc420 post 240, G80 awd 11.43@129.36 Glemm1970 post 20, G82 rwd 11.85@126.11 rogurat Post 297, G82 Comp RWD 11.96@121.49 RogerM_vrt post 46, G82, rwd manual 100-200 kph 5.94 Sbm007 post 255, G80 awd 6.25 Y@nnick post 62, G80 awd 6.32 Pirate1 post 251, G80 awd 6.45 @G80.6MT(contact:241217) post 280, G80 MT 6.46 destoyan post 281, G80 AWD 6.50 PLife post 73, g80 awd 6.58 0Camus0 post 208, G80 manual rwd 6.63 Glemm1970 post 20, G82 rwd 6.64 NCG80M3 post 227, G80 rwd 6.65 findm3 - Post 303, G80 AWD 6.89 Pirate1 post 181, G80 awd 7.09 chris3g post 21, G80 manual rwd 7.22 GabbyChaves post 71, G80 manual rwd 60-130 mph 7.03 Sbm007 post 255, G80 awd 7.15 Svergel91 post 279, G80 awd 7.20 Y@nnick post 62, G80 awd *94 canadian thunder juice 7.35 Pirate1 post 251, G80 awd 7.51 @G80.6MT(contact:241217) post 278, G80 MT 7.53 0Camus0 post 208, G80 manual rwd 7.57 GabbyChaves post 90, G80 manual rwd 7.63 PLife post 73, G80 awd 7.89 [The Flying Scotsman] Post 296, G80 AWD 7.92 G80_Soom post 86, G80 manual rwd 8.00 ggelpi post 151, G82 rwd 8.25 brad65ford post 276, G80 AWD 8.32 NCG80M3 post 227, G80 rwd 8.39 chris3g post 21, G80 manual rwd 8.50 HappyRock post 122, G83 awd 8.51 1BAD_M3CX post 120, G80 awd 8.54 Spykexx post 232, G80 awd 8.68 B58SP post 209, G80 manual rwd Last edited by destoyan; 10-24-2022 at 11:38 PM.. |

Hello destoyan
This is a my pump gas time (No E85) with awful bad 91 Oct California Gas. Bear in mind that this is a base manual. NVM Flash Tune low boost map. Catless Downpipes. Note that there is no brake boost on this run, I could easily go 7.5 with that or even less, but I am waiting for Mabz to finish this map before attempting to break any pump gas record. Out of interest has anyone measured the difference between a 100% stock car running 98 vs one running 98 + 10-15% E85? (essentially used as an octane booster)
Interested to note if people pick up a few tenths in the 1/4 mile or drop a bit in the 100-200kph when doing this without a tune. |

G82 Manual with NVM 91 Oct Tune - Catless Downpipes and half tank. I don't think I can do better, maybe with 1/8 the tank and removing seats and all, but I leave it here. |

destoyan can you update my 0-60 too please?
G80 M3 xDrive + 99 RON fuel + BM3 Stage 2 OTS flash + catted downpipes + catback exhaust: I had 1 passenger (115kg/250lbs), and 1.2% slope.. I am pretty sure I can get it to 2.6 - will do another run solo this week 100-200 and 1/4 mile soon too

Wow, nice times all around! Amazing what these cars can do with minor upgrades.
I do wish I'd see a few times ran at ~7k in elevation. I hear some turbos respond well to high altitude.

1/4 mile, 100-200 and 60-130 times for my stage 2 Bootmod3 OTS tune G80 AWD on 99 RON pump fuel: I know I can do better - this was first run of the day and I had bad traction at start so 1/4 mile can definitely be improved
