On a postive note, the higher interest rate should thin out the waiting list.

The Market gonna jump back up too though

So it looks like on BMW FS website you can pay with a debit card (not credit). In that case, once I get my car, I am going to make my monthly payments with my Coinbase Visa Debit card.. It's 4% cash back in crypto that you can immediately convert to USD or transfer into another crypto if you'd like

Nice. I was on the wait list for that card and gave up. Maybe I should look back into it. I'll get about 75 bucks a month in rewards from the bmw Mastercard to go to payments in meantime

When did you place your order?
Back in the good 'ol days, October '21.

You can pay your monthly payments with that BMW mastercard or are you earning points another way?

Yeah, I'm gonna wait to see what happens as I believe a lot of loan/lease buyers kinda stretched out financially to begin with...cash becoming king again... I think 'deals' and more reasonable personal reselling will return by the fall.

I'm also on sidelines for housing market too...will be an interesting year there too! GO Fed!

I use it for my everyday purchases, car insurance , taxes etc etc. The cash back then can be applied toward your bmw fs payments. I also used it for my down payment and got 5% back

So loyalty was bumped up to 1000 from 500? That's regardless of purchase or lease right?

Most dealers at MSRP are requiring full finance/lease MF bumps, 0.0004 for MF and 1% for loans. Some non MSRP also require.

I this accurate? My dealer is trying to charge me the new rate claiming they didn't lock me in last week even though I submitted my credit app and we placed the order for the car a week ago.

If you just submitted the order, most don't run your credit. There's no point in doing so as cars are taking so long for delivery. Needless inquiry on your credit.

I just got 1.96% at my local credit union. When the car gets in ill just give them the pre approval letter and ask if they can beat it.
