Took me 1.5 hrs.

So, is the small intake supposed to be loose? I'm able to rotate it after it's c clamp is in unlike the long intake which kinda bumped snuggly in place with a little pressure.

overall easy to install, would have been better if I had longer T drivers.

It shouldn't be loose, it should be snug but it will rotate since the c clamp is just holding it in place from being disconnected. There is no screw or bolt to have it fixed like the longer intake.

if is too loose, double-check the install.

Yeah, the c-clamp is completely on, the pipe won't pull off, and it's slightly snug -- it doesn't jiggle, but it's not as snug as the long pipe. Like you said, it's just the c-clamp holding it in place. So, looks like I have it installed properly. Thanks!

Forgive me if this is incorrect. I only saw it on a install video once. But I think there is a rubber o ring that goes on the inside of one or both of the tubes. Did you check to ensure that didnt fall out or become unseated?

This seems like the most detail intake install video i've see . And yes he is very clear on the O-rings, even says they are directional.

That's the MST, I installed the BMS intakes.

Yep - I made sure the o-rings were in place. BMS supplies their own o-rings and coupler.

Took it out for a drive - sound is pretty cool.

We will be posting our MST install video next Monday. The stock o-rings are reused.

Expect some movement with both, that's normal with any brand, but it's certainly not loose.
