Nothing particularly interesting about mine since I went for OEM 826Ms. But I did go for just 19"s all around. Shoes are Michelin Pilot Alpin 5s.

That’s what I’m doing (only with 825Ms) when my M4 gets home in 3 weeks.

How’s the stance with the rear rims? I have 12mm and 15mm spacers from my G05. I’m thinking of throwing the 12mm spacers on, in order to restore the OEM stance.

Here are the V710's mounted on the car. It was raining, so pic quality may not be the best.

I think it looks fine. Certainly still feels planted even on the skinnier rears. Although I haven't really pushed cornering yet. I've never gotten spacers on any of my cars because some space between the tire and fender doesn't bother me, but here is some angles to give you an idea:

Props to you guys opting for VMR V710s .. I've had them on a couple cars over the years. They hold up very well, both structurally and cosmetically. I can also clean and dry them with my eyes closed!

Thanks for the photos. Tire performance is the overriding criterion, but based on your rims, I might give the rears a little more poke -- nothing radical or obvious -- with 12mm spacers (I also have 15mm I could try).

I heard these were a different bore size like 72.2 or something is that true? And you need to order like a ring?

Has anyone put M5 or M8 wheels on there car? I saw someone put on 810M on their G80, but what abt M5 wheels? Also would a sidewall of 40 not work? Or would I be fine?

Ordered 4 Nexen Winterguard Sport 2's for $600 to mount on 18/19 oem wheels. Have a friend with a Mustang GT and for the price they are very capable. Will report once we get some snow. Couldn't justify the extra $1200 to order sottozeros when the reviews seem to be pretty similar.

If the car is not lowered, do I need the spacers or can I just put these on stock setup?

Nope, no spacers required. Without spacers, the fronts will essentially match the stock front wheels, but the rears will be sunken in 15mm more than the stock 10.5" rears... nothing wrong with it other than maybe the aesthetics of the sunken-in rears.

Same set-up as JTO, but without the spacers. While it may not look as good, the paint on the rockers and rear corners may thank you The one advantage of a less aggressive fitment, especially if you live someplace with lots of salt, gravel and other junk on the roads all winter.

(This said by the person trying to justify being too cheap to buy spacers LOL)

You're exactly right regarding the better protection against road debris while my car is my daily driver, my daily drive is not much these days so I'm taking the risk of having a "more flush" fitment... plus I was too lazy to take the spacers off when swapping wheels

Interesting feature that my F82 definitely didn't have is the G82 sensing the new tires/TPMS and giving the option of selecting the tread type and size. I wonder if it corrects for any speedometer differential automatically?

Noticed that too. Not sure what the function is. But I do know that mine took a surprisingly long drive to finish the reset of the system - was stuck at 0% progress for a while, then jumped to 19% progress...and then after a few miles, just when I was about to lose hope that my brand new winter set-up would pair seamlessly with the car - it jumped to 100% and all 4 tires showed up as green.

So for anyone out there doing the TPMS system reset, changing the tire type to winter and the size etc., don't panic if it takes longer to register than you expect.
