Need help with a Deal

Hey everyone!

So I have a M3 Comp in Brooklyn Grey. Love the car. Nice optioned also
MSRP $83,500.

They're giving it to me with discount of $500 which is the loyalty. So I'm paying a tiny bit below MSRP.

The lease buy rate or MF is .00093 they were at .0133 at first but got them to drop the points.

Payments with $4k down come to $1,182 would this be an okay deal? Can anyone suggest anything else I can do to reduce the payment.

I was paying $915 for the M4 CS and $980 for an 18' M3 just annoying I have to pay over $1k for an M3 haha. What are your guys suggestions?

Any idea what the residual value is? And is that $4,000 total out of pocket or a $4,000 cap reduction?

I believe that is the base MF, so can't go lower on that. And the residual should be 57% for 10k miles. I don't see any options to lowering the payment unless you put more down which is not typically recommended.

My lease quote I received was similar.

If $202/month is really making you question it even though you “love the car” then maybe you shouldn’t do it?

Or build your own without having it go above $80k unless you want all the extra crap.

I feel like that's a pretty solid lease deal

Well I love the car it's just a mindset thing of me paying less for an M3 and M4 but I get it right now this car is hot and if you want the new toy gotta pay extra but you're right...

I think you can love the car but also question if lease deal is worth it at that price. It’s a big payment. But you could build a cheaper spec and pay less. The wait will be tough though.

Have you considered Select financing?

Pandemic shortages...

IMO the money factor is what I care the most about right now and that is excellent for a lease at 2.2%. The residual sucks but likely can turn equity into trade, cash, or nice buyout at lease end.

Yes I actually have but this dealer unfortunately doesn't offer it in their state I'm located in CA and the dealers here raping with Mark ups and adding points to the MF

The deals of the 18s are sadly no longer a thing...I too benefited from those deals back in the day.

I was fortunate enough to find a Brooklyn somewhat local. They gave me free delivery and threw in some all weather floor mats (woot!?). The dealer also gave me a solid trade offer on my car. I don't know too much about the lease situations but right now it's MSRP or move on.

But Brooklyn grey is the business. I've had mine for all of two days and I love it. You won't be disappointed.

Payments seemed pretty high for my quote as well. Not even a mention of a discount. Not sure if it's worth waiting for the hype to die down to get a better deal.
