Any forum sponsors or friends have an allocation for an order in Texas? Would I ne ordering a 2021 or a 2022 already?

I'm not sure when the formal switch over to the 2022 models will occur in July so it remains to be seen what model year a May allocation will get you. Perhaps others more experienced with ordering around this time of year can chime in.

I had a great experience with Sewell BMW Grapevine - DFW Airport area. They also had a nice G82 on the showroom floor as of earlier this week. How I found mine!

Interesting. We'll see what happens when I order a G83 in a few months

Forget discounts that aren’t a rebate right now, getting the car at sticker with no adds and no rate markup full stop is the deal.
That’s where I am with A7s, etron, and other current limited production cars. |

So interesting to come across his name on this thread. I was looking for a last remaining M2C allocation and BMW of Austin had one, and he was the one who reached out and I bought it through him. Haven't met him live yet but he seems like a really good guy, straightforward and honest.

I just spoke with John at BMW of Austin, he put my name on a wait list for a M3, right now he’s thinking I might be looking at a 2022 model.
He makes a great first impression and the dealer isn’t doing any markups or stupid add-ons like BMW of San Antonio. They lost me at “we add 1% to cover the salaries of our staff”. Yeah, sure. |
