Post break-in service
So, I’m sure I’m not going crazy, but the car somehow feels more responsive. The throttle feels better connected to the tires somehow?
I don’t know how to explain it, it could be my excitement but the car does feel better, accelerating feels more linear and it revs so much better/easier past 5k it feels like the engine is getting pulled towards redline. I can’t wait to take it to the track and chase redline every chance I get. Anyway just my impression if any one has had a similar experience please do share |

I'm impressed you hit the 1200 miles already! I just drove from SC to Chicago so I'll be scheduling mine soon. Also eager to go to the track already.

I didn't notice you are in Chicago until you mentioned Autobahn! I will see you there then. Are you going for the Windy City HPDE? I think I need to find a weekday to go, weekends are tricky to miss time away from family. Meanwhile, I am itching to find a place to safely play around with the drift mode.....I'm in the north suburbs technically, Highland Park.

If you weren't going north of 4500 RPMs before and you are now, that's where all the fun lives anyway. The S58 is a true powerhouse at 5k+.

My car feels very different after break in service. Similar to what you described.
It also sounds different with minor burbling on deceleration. Could be that the exhaust is breaking in and or placebo. I’m fairly experienced with shaking down and sorting out cars and it does drive differently. IDK ??

Exhausts do get louder on performance cars with miles. Definitely noticed it on my Vettes, although went with B&Bs on the '06 and '13. THAT was what exhaust should sound like. Had the NPP on the '18--pulled the fuse to keep valves open all of the time, and sounds pretty good. Not like Bullets though.
