Where are the Frozen Portimao Blue Owners / Pics?

Absolutely love the look, but it seems too much of a pain to live with.

It was those exact frozen PB M3 pics (and especially that rear 3/4 pic) that made the G8X grow on me. I absolutely dig this color, it's stunning. But, funny enough, I saw a normal glossy PB M3 and IMO that color did not wow me at all. How do I put it? It was just dull, and it did not work very well with the front end at all. The front end is a difficult thing to package and normal PB made the front end seem more cumbersome than a black G8X, for example. I'm hoping the frozen variant will give a new sheen to the car and make it pop, because those phots look amazing.

I have a Frozen PB on the way. Should be landing at port some time this week. It will go straight on an enclosed trailer for full matte PPF and ceramic coating. Cant wait!

Likewise! would love to see some "pre" PPF shots and then "post" PPF shots. I have heard from several local Frozen BMW owners that the stealth PPF removes some of the sheen that comes from the BMW frozen paint that really makes them unique (the tradeoff between the protection and color). All of them chose to Ceramic Coat instead.

My Frozen PB is at port in Germany and now patiently waiting for it to get to "in transit" and in my hands.

I tried to buy this car and the GM said they are not selling it out of their local market. Oh well

Wow. Surprised they wouldn’t sell it to you. I’ve never had an issue buying out of state but expect discounts to disappear.

I havent either. Oh well, I got one specced just the same and 2 hours fro me. Car is at the US port and should be to the dealer shortly. I will try to get some pre PPF shots, but I told them not to touch the car so it will likely remain wrapped in plastic until it gets to my detailer for wrapping. Ill see if he can get some shots

It 100% does make the paint pop less. You have the same problem with the matte green AMG GTs where people put matte film on and it made the color way more dull.

Second pic in dealer show room. First pic with 3M matte ppf installed . Absolutely no difference. Hood and bumper are done. Hope this helps anyone that is on the fence. People can't tell the difference...even the dealer started using the same film on any new Frozen paint that people want the ppf on.

Maybe color dependent? Like I said you can tell the difference between the bright green AMG GTs if they are right next to each other. Could also be the brand they used I suppose.
