Congrats! I was thinking of getting IOMG too but want to see it in person first. What's your opinion on the color? I'm waiting for xdrive. Maybe we can cruise one day!

I am getting spacers soon. How many pounds of pressure is needed for the lug nuts?

Those are officially my favorite wheels of all time.

They look very similar to the 763M wheels on my CS....but more badass with the cut outs.

I may be getting these....probably getting these....ok....more likely than not, like 75% getting these.

Me too! I don't know why the press pictures were so lackluster. A few people didn't even notice the cutouts.

The wheels look great but to be honest I think it's not worth it if they're going to be finished in black or gunmetal kind of shade... Seeing them next to the 826M wheels I don't think I'd spend the extra $ on those in dark finish.

Are they offered in bronze-gold similar to the M2CS/M5CS or the other M performance wheel option? If not I'd get them powder-coated.

The 1000M wheels come in the Frozen Goldbronze color. Listed at $7,200 for the wheels and tires on BMWUSA though.

Love the wheels!! Wish BMW left the 825 Orbit all grey like these. Much better than the overly-busy 826's you replaced!

Yes that's the finish I like and I'm pretty sure BMW will eventually offer this on the M3/M4 CS or CSL versions in the future.

I think I'll spec 826M wheels and get them powder-coated Goldbronze as my brother-in-law has a wheel repair & powder-coating business.

Does anyone think it's possible to order this wheel from the factory, perhaps through the Individual program?

I can only speak for Switzerland market:

it's a nono

You have to buy them seperately.

Factory, no.

In the past there has been the potential to order M performance parts and have them installed at the port versus the dealership but I'm not sure if that could be done in this case. You'd have to check with the dealership. However, I will say that for the price they are charging I'd want them to be an extra set of wheels so that I still got the original spec and could sell those to help recoup the cost of them.

That's my plan as well. Hell of a lot cheaper than 1000 wheels lol.

Funny I partly love the 763m wheels (specifically the CS version) for their simplicity. The cutouts only make them more visually complex which I don't think adds much. The CS-version 763m wheels are one of my favorites out there. Only beaten by the 991 GT3 wheels (that I think they're loosely based on)
