EDIT: found my answer, it looks like carbon paddles are part of the carbon fiber interior trim. Interesting.

Wow....the white looks incredible with the black contrast against the lower trim. I saw that as a guy who never considers "grey scale" colors.

I saw the G80 (non comp) in white and it looks better than some of the pics we saw weeks ago, but not as good as a white E46, E9x or F8x M3 in my opinion. I've always loved white ///M cars but on the G8x it's not that attractive although I agree it contrasts well with the gloss black accents.

Thankfully I wasn't even considering white for my next car otherwise I would've been disappointed.

I thought white didn't look all that good in pics. But I saw a white M4 in person that looked great. It might be enough to switch me from BG.

Saw a white M4 and black M3 side by side; the white does look very meh compared to the black. I just don't think the grilles work on a white car, meanwhile the black handled the grilles a lot better.

If you look at that last photo of the white M3, is it just me or is there some kind of scuff on that rear wheel arch?

The carbon roof and exterior carbon pack make a huge difference with the lighter colors. The one I saw didn't have either of those, and it looked like any other car

It's a combination of focal length and camera angles. But mostly focal length....

Most people are taking pics of this car with their smartphones.
Most cameras on smartphones have focal lengths under 35mm. That's going to make the features stick out more.

The human eye is closer to 50mm on a cropped sensor and 85mm on a full frame sensor. Hence why most review videos that are probably shot on DSLRs and CineCameras using nifty 50's or 85mm prime lenses make the car look amazing.

I agree. I have preferred the Mineral White. It was still sexy af don't get me wrong, but going with Brooklyn Grey after seeing the M2. [IMG][/IMG]

BGM is interesting. It's what I have and I can't decide how much I like it, I have had several compliments on the color though. I specifically wanted something that was a little under the radar and would wear pretty well, and it ticks those boxes, also definitely think it looks better than alpine white. I think it's the best of the understated colors
