Had the CF roof on my F80 and can't say I noticed it being that loud. I treated like the paint, had it ceramic coated, looked awesome and kept well.

I remember seeing that 360 spin around view on a 7 series my parents were test driving some years ago. It's always nice when the fancy stuff finally trickles down.

I've had it for 4 years and can't say I've ever noticed rain noise. I think the only bad thing is that you don't get a sunroof. Most M drivers though seem to think that the coolness factor of the CF roof trumps the utility of the sunroof.

Not sure what you're asking. The "launch date" is irrelevant, I know people with non-HEA allocations that are already in production. Figure we will see cars in late January.

My tentative build week was week 49 but I don't even have a production number yet.

Unfortunately I don’t think the launch date is irrelevant. Customer deliveries of completed builds could be held back until very close to the launch date. GOLRR indicated that it’s likely history will repeat itself in this regard.

They are irrelevant to the original question about production status though. BMW is churning out cars from the factory since November.

I mean that if production started on November 5th how can your car be already built by the 49th week which is as early as November 30. But thanks for the explanation, I will order my this week coming and I'll be happy with an early March delivery, not sure I agree with cars in the dealers as early as late January but that would be nice.
thanks

Figure if it gets on a boat in 2 weeks it will be 4 weeks until he takes delivery. Late January but more likely February.

You think they'll deliberately keep that at port or even in Bremerhaven until March? That's a lot of cash to have tied up in inventory that could be turned. Seems unwise. You'll see so few on the road IF they do sell in late January or February.

Personally, my lease is up in April and I am hoping mine doesn't get here too long before then.

They don't have space at the ports to store several weeks' worth of cars.

Here's my configuration:

2021 G82 M4
- 6MT
- Sao Paulo Yellow
- Black Style 826M
- Yas Marina Blue/Black Full Merino Leather with Yellow Accent
- Aluminum Tetragon trim
- Executive Pack
- Parking Assistant Pack
- M Carbon bucket seats
- M Carbon Ceramic Brakes
total msrp: 92,195

Picking the parking assist really just for the driving recorder. Getting a good dash cam is also gonna be quite pricy anyways. And not clean looking.

And although carbon ceramic is a big ticket, it's truly worth it to me. After having it on F90 never look back to the steels. So much more durable on daily usage, and little to no dust that kept the wheel look super clean for very very long time. (and not as caked up and hard to clean!)

Glad to have 6-MT still!

Congratulations! Sounds like a great build! Which dealer did you use if you don’t mind sharing and do they have many build spots available?

Congrats, only 2 months, that's nice. Hit the print screen key then bring up the paint program by jus typing paint in the lower search box(assuming you have windows ) then paste and crop the picture and save as a jpg file then just upload to your post.

Has anyone been able to find out if ventilated seat option removes adjustable side bolsters like it did on the G01?
