Which "driving" review are you looking forward to?
POLL TIME!
I came up with a list of YouTube channels that are expected to post Driving Reviews of the G8X M3/M4 early 2021. Which review are you looking forward to the most? I'm sure I missed a few but it's just for fun so you can select Other and post your preferred channel in the comments!

Auto Motor & Sport / Sport Auto and Autobild are the ones I am the most looking forward to as they are very thorough. Track videos by Tim Schrick are also pretty reliable.
From the US, Car & Driver and Automobile Pro racer's take usually are good ones. Funny that none of these are in the poll...

Sorry I was focused on English speaking channels so I didn't include the Germans.

Savagegeese for me. I love how technical they get when discussing the car in the shop. They just recently did one for the LFA and it was incredible.

I'm a fan of Autogefühl reviews. Not performance driving oriented, but it'll cover everything else. |

As I said above I missed C&D, and I'm honestly not confident they would have a review video posted on youtube around the launch timeframe)
I left out MT as their recent youtube content suggests they won't be posting a G8X review.

That’s pretty much my list but I would add remove before race, and straight pipes as both of their videos are pretty good as well, oh and Joe Achilles

The British reviewers are the best in the world, IMO.
Evo was an a amazing place - so many great reviewers worked there at one point in their career. Chris Harris Carfection: Henry and Drew Autocar: Matt and Steve Piston Heads: Dan Prosser Jethro Bovingdon |

From this list....
Joe A. Has gotten pretty good. He did a 997 GT3 video recently that was very good and very spot on, outside of his normal BMW content. I was impressed. Thomas from Throttle House will give good opinions, he likes BMW, is a driving instructor who appreciates raw cars, track days, and manual transmissions. |

I voted Throttle House as I really like them but for me Car & Driver and Auto, Motor und Sport are by far the most reliable ones.

Car & Driver for written reviews. MT is good too and R&T if Cammisa is writing (although he is a big overly-dramatic/whiny).
From YouTube, for sure Throttle House. Thomas isn't afraid to be critical. Carwow/Doug are always enjoyable to watch but they rarely tell their true feelings.

Ps. Looking forward to Joe and throttle House, CH, aka people who knows and or experienced the great BMW's of the bygone era. The majority of today's reviewers are for entertainment especially if we are talking about Domestic reviewers. I want to know how the car performs relative to the F80, steering, handling, balance, braking etc. I don't care about quarter mile runs either for this car so Carwow is out. Guys like Doug provides nothing relevant, the dumb quirks and scores are meaningless and have no bearing in making a decision on any car.

To me the one that'll count most would be the Sport Auto Supertest (mentioned earlier by CanAutM3), they test both on the Nordschleife as well as Hockenheim GP, so it kind of covers all bases performance wise. I would expect the G80/81 to do well on the Nordschleife (since they've been running it here for two years already) but not so well on Hockenheim where it won't be able to hide its excessive weight...a smaller and less powerful M5 basically.
