Stop reading these threads about the new M3/4 and, for god's sake, stop complaining about it.

FWIW, you will come around to like it. I know people like you. You are unimaginative and uncreative. You don't like trying new things and are resistant to change and are scared of the unfamiliar so you resist it. You are like the people who freaked out when sushi became popular in the western world but now love your fatty tuna and even your uni rolls.

So, like sushi, the vast majority of you will eventually come around. Same happened to those who hated the Audi grill and then the Lexus "predator" grill. Now, no one bats an eye at either of those brands' cars. Same will happen to this car as well. There are already people saying they are getting used to the grill and some who hated it are now saying they like it.

So, why don't you all just stop looking at these threads, give it a year or two after the car has been out for a while, then come back and buy one as you know you will.
weird, i saw it in person today and i still dont like it. the interior looks amazing, the back looked great, and even from the side it looked decent, but when you look at her face....

maybe in black it would be better, but that highlighter yellow they chose did not help those new grills.

guess im just unimaginative and uncreative though (as is everybody else i spoke to today who saw the car).

After seeing it today I dislike the hood design just as much as the grill.

F80 is much better design in every way imo.

I'm one of the few on this forum that don't like that front end. That concept doesn't appeal to me at all from any angle. I would rather drive my M4.

Styling of a vehicle is very subjective. Having owned a E46 ZHP Coupe back in 2005 that I purchased new. The ZHP was great car to drive but a series of failed ignition coils plagued the car and it was bought back by BMW. Not a fan of the E90/E92 3 series I left the BMW fold and reentered the Chevy group and purchased a new Corvette. Since the ZHP I owned 3 new Corvettes till I purchased a F80 in July of 2014. Now I have a F90 since August of 2018 that replaced the F80.

My wife misses the F80 so I have been sitting back and waiting for the release of the new M3. Since this is a grill thread we are both of the opinion that we do not like the looks of the grill. We will wait for the new M3 to be released and view it in person before making our final decision.

When I bought my C7 Corvette (early 2014) the Corvette forum was up in arms with Chevy changing the round tail lamps to the new design. I was of the mindset that it looked good.

With a large number of negative feedback I'm sure the grill be addressed in the first LCI

you're assuming (like most others who have made the exact same point going back to june, 2019) that these forums are a fair cross section of the performance-car-buying public. They really aren't. This car is going to sell very well, despite what a few hundred of us think.

Yeah, just think about all the Lexus buyers that we might attract. My fiance already showed me a build for an LC after saying she liked the look of the grille...

Exactly, everyone I showed the renders love the new look. All are BMW owners including two F82 owners but none are on bimmerpost or can be labeled BMW junkies. I am though and I love it too.

It’s a way less revolutionary design than say the E60 was and that car just got a mild LCI treatment. A good treatment but did nothing to the controversial “dame Edna” headlights and flame surface.

I suspect the only hope for those hating the grill is an i4 failure that is blamed squarely on the grills.

Nope. I’m keeping my CS.

That front end is a no go from me when you see the car in full.
