Something is off with that exhaust... Its almost pointed downward with the tips a good 3-5'' away from the bottom of the bumper. Surely this won't stay like this right? Wayyy too low. Other than that I can't wait to see this thing!

Guess I'll skip this one too.
The paddle shifters in M4 are exactly the same as the one in G80 M3. ZFat.

I just want an M4 Coupe with CF roof with working hardware to attach a Thule rack. Or at least have a metal roof option with no moonroof.
Hopefully BMW M will get this correct this time. |

That ain’t no shit - and the G87 is going to be bigger than the F87, right?

I’m sure the new 4er is stunning...in panoramic mode. It should only take a 50% neck rotation to see the whole thing.

I'm sure the G87 will be bigger, but the F87 is already a small car that if it grew an inch or two wouldn't be that significant IMO. The G87 better be lighter than the M2c. We already know it will be more powerful with the s58, that engine is a beast.

You know you can replace them??? All mine cars where MT and when I bought the F90 M5 I instantly removed those short paddle shifters. This should be the least concern by buying a car!

Also lowers rev limiter to 7200 rpm because of inherent oil cavitation at high revolutions. (Note that F8x M3/4 revs to 7600 despite being turbocharged) The ZF transmission is a hindrance in many ways.

Most BMW customers literally do not care about transmissions these days. The days of BMW customers being motoring enthusiasts are pretty much over. Less than 0.5% of their customer base even realizes the differences. Pretty sad decline of the enthusiast...

Again just so big. I would think this was an M6 or M8. At this point for my weekend car I need a coupe that is less than 180 in length. So M2 variants and eventually a 911 for me. I don't like the torque on a Cayman, as I need a more muscle car like M2 CS or 911. G87 M2 should be good but so far away with December 2022 production and on the road in early 2023.
