Cold Start Delete w/o ECU unlock

Is there a possible way to delete the cold start without having to unlock the ECU? I have a JB4 and perfectly happy with the power it makes.

I seen a product from Leib Engineering but cannot find much info about it. I think some of the old generation M3 you could pull a fuse…. Any creative or proven ideas?

CAT HEATING | The 'heating' of the catalysts can be deactivated - the cold start can thus be switched off

Interesting... but since this is marketed for f and g series cars i'll bet that some things don't work on every car, let alone on id7, id8 and id8.5 g series cars. I'd email them and ask.

I purchased the LEIB Exhaust Pro. I’m likely going to install this somewhere in January. I can let you know if it’s working on my G82 ID7 car

Awesome! Where’d you buy it. I’d love to get rid of this cold start… it’s obnoxious with downpipes.

They’re only relevant to quickly heating up the cats to emission friendly measures which… who cares? With aftermarket exhaust mods cold starts can be a abnoxiously loud until the rpm drops.
