Finally Buying a BMW again
Hello,
Back on the forum because i've got a M3 Touring arriving next summer, I've got some great contacts so I'll be speccing tomorrow and then it will be made into a demo to get a better price overall for me which of course i'm delighted about. To cut to the chase, its still some time away but I am thinking Skyscraper grey + Matte PPF? then yellow DRL and some way of making it louder without a cel and still be a nice calm daily, I've heard some mid-pipe deletes and that seems quite a decent way to go, any other suggestions? ( don't really want to spend too much since it will be my daily ) Also probably going to lower it with Eibach, are spacers needed on the Touring? Finally anything to look out for before I lock in my spec tomorrow? it all happened so fast so.. kind of last minute in here. Also considering just all black on black satin ppf with yellow lights, can't really go wrong with a murder spec car. thanks in advance. Kris. |

Heya Kris, first of all congratulations on the purchase. That's awesome news, it's totally OK to change your mind about the details a hundred times. I'm relatively new to these forums, but the advice that I find most helpful is "make it totally about you".
If you know thyself, and what you really want out of the appearance and handling, and don't give 2 snaps about what anyone else has to say about it, then that's the one-true-right-best answer. If you love the gray, go for it. If you love Matte PPF, great, no wrong there. Yellow DRL, amen. If it's your daily, consider going all the way through the break in period before you touch the systems. Day one might feel a lot different than day 30. |
