I've lived in the area a while and I finally went to my first Caffeine & Octane event yesterday in Kennesaw. It's a free car show held in the parking lot of Town Center mall, and it happens the first Sunday of each month, rain or shine.

I think the turnout may have been low because of the colder temps and forecasted rain. Even so, I was surprised at the large number of spectators and vehicles. There was a large police presence throughout the event and the surrounding areas to keep the level of foolishness to a minimum.

Hundreds of cars in the parking lots of all makes and models. There were several older BMWs, a couple of G80s but I was only able to find one G82. I'm planning to attend the next event but not parking in the central lot. The website says if you park in the central lot the event organizers won't let you exit until noon.

I'm planning to arrive at/around 07:30 and parking in the top-right corner of the Exhibit Lot beside the Exotics so I'm not stuck there until noon. Would love to see more G8Xs at that show, come on by if you're available.

I went for the January show. It was clear the rain scared people off. Unless its warmer, I don't know that I'll go back for Feb unless a big group is going.

4% chance of rain tomorrow (05 Mar 23) so I'll be out at C&O if anyone else is planning on it. I'm planning on arriving NLT 07:30 and parking in the exhibit lot next to the Volvos and their Swedish flag.

Not sure if you made it JohnPam but next time I'll be earlier. Got to the event at 07:20 and so many people had already reserved spaces with cones so I couldn't even park next to the Exotic Lot like I'd planned. I ended up parking on the west side of the lots by the food trucks.

If weather is good in April then I'll arrive NLT 06:30 with some cones of my own!

We made it but later than planned so we brought the truck (and the dog who’s not allowed in the new ride, yet) and parked at the Varsity. We’ll shoot for April, and we’ll plan to be there early.

I won't be at C&O in April but I should be there on May 7th. I'll plan on parking next to the exotic lot, arriving by 06:30 with a couple of orange cones to hold some spots if anyone can make it. C ya there

I should be there this month again. Like last time I'll be up next to the exotics lot in front of belk (exhibition lot, usually as close to the exotics as they will let me get). I like having the fencing behind me to cut back on people climbing all over the cars. If not there then somewhere in the exhibition lot. Likely parked next to a yellow mkv Supra.

Sorry I didn’t get to this before but I was working and unable to attend. Not sure if you went but so far we haven’t had a consolidated G8X parking plan.

I'm waiting for my 24' g82 to arrive, when it does, I totally plan on a meet up. Probably mid-August at the earliest.

Thanks to joenieh for letting me know Caffeine & Octane is hosting BMW M series in their Special Display Area on Feb 2nd.

I found another meet for the Atlanta BMW Club called M_Addicts which is hosted by the automotive repair shop (Wolfpen) on Jan 26th in Alpharetta for those not interested in C&O.
