Thumbs up 24' PER LCI G80 xDrive Experience bimmer-remote's CS DME FLASH AND CS Flash

My 24' PRE LCI G80 xDrive is completely stock with GPF, and without any modifications, I ordered the CS/CLS Flash and CS DME Flash. I went to my friend's bar, parked the car nearby, and had kubax86 perform the flash. The process was straightforward—just connect the ENET to the laptop and open TeamViewer. The entire flashing process went smoothly. I sipped drinks at my friend's shop while kubax86 notified me when it was done, and I immediately took it for a test drive.

Although the CS DME is based on the M2 CS, it works flawlessly on the M3. Horsepower jumped from 510 to 530, and the throttle curve changed noticeably—it's more responsive and linear. The exhaust note also transformed, becoming richer than the stock version. Idle speed also climbed to nearly 900 RPM, making starts more responsive and idle exhaust notes louder—this is how a performance machine should sound. The stock version was far too subdued and gentle. The Transmission CS program deserves special mention: gear changes are noticeably quicker, and shifting from 1st to 2nd at low speeds is smoother. The original version often felt sluggish and hesitant. In D3 mode, the transmission responds very aggressively to throttle inputs. In S3 mode, upshifts at high RPM deliver a very noticeable impact—a sensation that feels quite satisfying. The Steering Flash CS makes the steering feel tighter and the front end more responsive. In Comfort mode, the steering effort is appropriately balanced, while in Sport mode it becomes noticeably firmer. For Suspension Flash, I used the LCI version. Comfort mode feels more comfortable than the PER LCI version—though I wonder if that's just psychological. Regarding DSC and differential changes, I tested them on a U-turn corner and felt the car entered slides faster. I only tested in 4WD mode since I haven't been on a track, so my experience here is still basic. I also selected the ASD TO CS Version. The original ASD felt overly deliberate, whereas the CS version is more natural with zero discomfort. Since I haven't driven much post-flash and haven't tested it on the highway, my experience is limited. But I already feel this is a true performance M3—the stock version was too family-oriented, masking much of the M3's true character. The CS version liberates it.

And all this comes at a very low cost and requires minimal time. It's truly excellent value for money. kubax86 was very friendly, and communication went smoothly. I'm extremely pleased with this work.

Additionally, I noticed in some videos that certain pre-LCI M2s, after flashing the LCI M2 program, have Sport Plus mode in their steering and brake settings. How does this differ from the CS version? I assumed updating the CS DME would also unlock additional options, so there might be differences.

So you were drinking and driving or did you order Shirley Temples? 😆

BTW, that last part is a limitation of the newer LCI models where they can’t be coded and turned on. Only works on older ones.

Actually, I was just drinking my own Coke at my friend's bar, haha.

Also, thanks for the explanation—now I get it.
