If you could only chose one, Eventuri intake or Midpipe?

Hello,

I’m look at doing a mod to make the G80 sound a little more aggressive, but not overly so. So fair the only thing I done to the car is an SST flap controller with the MPE exhaust. I was thinking adding either the Eventuri intake or doing a titanium mid pipe, to match the titanium MPE.

What one would you pick and why?
Thank you.

I would get the infinity design intake which is basically the same as eventuri and arguably better , and then with the $800 I saved I would also get the midpipe.

Its not really a budget thing, I was just thinking that if i added both it might be too much sound.

Different sounds. Do both. At least the midpipe.

Do you open the engine bay much? If not there really is not need for carbon and a open air engine air intake may be more ideal for sound and the wallet.

Hey OP, I have both the Mad midpipe and the Eventuri intakes. The intakes are fairly quiet compared to other more open format intakes. Midpipe adds a nice deeper note in sport but still very calm in comfort mode (I’m still stock on DP and axle back). It’s just the right amount for me…but that’s very subjective. Choosing one for better sound? Midpipe.

Thanks I was leaning more towards the midpipe.
Did you do a single midpipe or equal length?

Yeah I don’t open the engine bay much, but I like the way it looks it seems to fit in with the rest of the car.

Single. Low and mid range sound is very good. Upper RPMs are a little harsher.

if you had to pick one, get the midpipe.

You will hear the midpipe every time you drive the car, you won't see that intake much.

btw I got both on my car, a titanium midpipe and a carbon intake so eventually you should get both
