Request - Picture of SSG M3/M4 with Sunroof

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Back in 2013 I ordered a 435 m-sport based solely on being smitten by the press release photos, and it is my favorite car I've owned to date.

A couple of years ago I traded it in for a truck (I needed a utility vehicle for my property) after purchasing a Tesla Model 3, and have regretted it every day since.

I'm now in position to specify an allocation on an M4 comp x-drive and, for nostalgic reasons, want to make it as close to my old car as possible, (it was Glacier Silver w/ a Sunroof) so I was looking to see if anyone had any pictures of a Skyscraper Grey M3/M4 with a sunroof.

I know it's borderline heretical to get an M car without the CF roof, but I use sunroofs all the time (I live in South Florida), so I wanted to check out what it would look like, and there are a dearth of pictures like this online.

I'm not 100% sold on making that choice (I may go with the CF roof), and I still have time before my build is finalized, so any input/pics would be very much appreciated.

No joke I had a E92 (2008) in Space Grey and somehow rationalized myself into trading for a more "practical" SUV. Missed it ever since. Now have an allocation for Skyscraper M4 Comp X. I think it's actually way better in person vs Space Grey.

As for the roof- I haven't seen one with the moon roof. Literally all pics have been either CF roof or convertible. If you see the CF in person it looks amazing and I think you will miss it. Really adds to the Motorsport appeal.

Nice!

I hear you on the roof, I'm just trying to do as much data gathering/fact finding as I can before I have to set the build in stone to satisfy the nostalgia in my head.

Here's a pic of the 435 the day I picked it up... such a great car...

Definitely.

It was garage kept, I only lived ~8 miles from my office so it was super low mileage when I traded it in (despite a number of long road trips), and I had it serviced and detailed regularly.

The dealership was astonished at it's condition when I drove it in, I got a pretty awesome premium (essential got a new truck straight up) for the trade in.

Definitely needed the truck, don't regret getting it, but I do regret giving up the 435 for it... at least in the end I'll have an M4 instead for my troubles! haha.

The question will be how close will the new BMW match my old BMW.

I had two F32's. One Glacier Silver and the second Snapper Rocks blue.
Both were manuals and had most all of the MSport and MPerformance options.

The G80CX is superior in every aspect I can think of. You could argue looks, the Snapper Rocks car was pretty and drew many compliments.
The M3 is much faster, rides better, steering, braking and build quality materials wise, is so much better.
The 440 was a car I enjoyed very much and it was fun to drive but I was never quite sure where I was in the cars envelope as you would begin to press on a deserted, twisty road.
The M3's pace on the same bits of road is much higher, with far more confidence and communication. And all the while with more comfort and poise.
You won't be disappointed.
